About Bareilly
Bareilly Smart City, Bareilly is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, located near Ramganga. It is a Commissioner district and falls under the geographical region Rohilkhand. The city is 252 kilometers (157 mi) north of the state capital, Lucknow, and 250 kilometers (155 mi) east of the national capital, New Delhi. It is the seventh-largest metropolis in Uttar Pradesh and the 50th-largest city in India. Bareilly also figured among the ambitious 100 Smart City projects in India. The city is a center of furniture manufacturing and trade in cotton, cereal, and sugar. Its status grew with its inclusion in the “Counter Magnets” list of the National Capital Region (NCR). The city is also known as Bans-Bareilly. Although Bareilly is a production center for cane (bans) furniture, “Bans Bareilly” is not derived from the bans market; it was named for two princes: Bansaldev and Baraldev, sons of Jagat Singh Katehriya, who founded the city in 1537.
What is Bareilly Smart City?
The first question is what is meant by a ‘Bareilly smart city. The answer is, that there is no universally accepted definition of a smart city. It means different things to different people. The conceptualization of a Bareilly Smart City, therefore, varies from city to city and country to country, depending on the level of development, and willingness to change reform aspirations of the city residents. A smart city would have a different connotation in India than, say, in Europe. Even in India, there is no one way of defining a smart city.
Some definitional boundaries are required to guide cities in the Mission. In the imagination of any city dweller in India, the picture of Bareilly smart city contains a wish list of infrastructure and services that describes his or her level of aspiration. To provide for the aspirations and needs of the citizens, urban planners ideally aim at developing the entire urban eco-system, which is represented by the four pillars of comprehensive development-institutional, physical, social and economic infrastructure. This can be a long-term goal and cities can work towards developing such comprehensive infrastructure incrementally, adding on layers of ‘smartness’.
In the approach of the Smart Cities Mission, the objective is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and give a decent quality of life to its citizens, a clean and sustainable environment the application of ‘Smart’ Solutions. बरेली में टॉप फेमस जगह
जुबां पर बरेली का नाम आते ही लोगों को झुमके की याद आती है। साल 1966 में फिल्म ‘मेरा साया’ में झुमका गिरा रे बरेली के बाजार में गाना था जो आज भी काफी लोकप्रिय है। आशा भोसले की आवाज में फिल्म के लिए गाया गया यह गीत इतना पॉपुलर हुआ कि बरेली शहर ‘झुमकों’ के लिए मशहूर हो गया।
हालांकि बरेली में वैसे घूमने को लेकर कुछ खास नहीं है लेकिन यहां की दरगाह आला हजरत में दुनिया भर से लोग आते हैं और मन्नत मांग कर चादर भी चढ़ाते हैं। इसके अलावा यहां त्रिवटीनाथ मंदिर मौजूद है जो शहर के बाहरी हिस्से में स्थित है। फिनिक्स मॉल, चिल्ड्रेन पार्क और फन सिटी ऐसी जगह हैं जहां पर लोग अपना समय व्यतीत कर सकते हैं। आइए जानते हैं बरेली के पांच जगहों की खासियत।
दरगाह आला हजरत
देश-दुनिया में प्रचलित दरगाह आला हजरत में अक्सर लोग चादर चढ़ाने आते रहते हैं। दरगाह में आम आदमी ही नहीं सुपरस्टार और बड़े-बड़े नेता भी यहां अपनी हाजिरी लगा चुके हैं। इसके अलावा देश दुनिया से लोग समय-समय पर आकर चादर चढ़ाते हैं और मन्नत मांगते हैं। बरेली को झुमके के अलावा इसे दरगाह आला हजरत के चलते भी लोग जानते हैं। शहर के सौदागरन मोहल्ले की तंग गलियों में स्थित इस धार्मिक स्थल को मुस्लिम संत और विद्वान आला हजरत इमाम अहमद रजा खान की याद में बनवाया गया था। बरेली जंक्शन से यह मात्र चार किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। जंक्शन से आपको पुराना शहर के लिए ऑटो पकड़ना होगा।
त्रिवटीनाथ मंदिर
वैसे तो बरेली में कई प्रसिद्ध मंदिर हैं। इनमें अलखनाथ मंदिर, धोपेश्वर नाथ मंदिरी, काली देवी मंदिर, हरि मंदिर, पशुपति नाथ मंदिर मौजूद हैं लेकिन त्रिवटीनाथ मंदिर की कुछ खास विशेषता है। शहर के बाहरी हिस्से में मौजूद इस मंदिर को भगवान शिव को त्रिवटीनाथ भी कहते हैं। मान्यताओं के अनुसार भगवान शिव या त्रिवटीनाथ ने भविष्यवाणी की थी कि वे पांचाल क्षेत्र के घने जंगलों में स्थित वट वृक्षों के नीचे सोये गड़रिए के सपनों में प्रकट होंगे। मान्यता तो यह भी है कि वटवृक्ष के नीचे सो गड़रिये ने सपने में भगवान शिव को देखा था, जब वह जागा तो उसने वृक्षों की जड़ों के शिवलिंग को पड़ा पाया। इसके बाद से ही भक्त पूरी श्रद्धा के साथ इस मंदिर में जाकर पूजा करते हैं।
फोनिक्स यूनाइटेड मॉल
बरेली के 5.5 लाख वर्ग फुट क्षेत्र में मौजूद फोनिक्स यूनाइटेड मॉल शहर का सबसे बड़ा माला है। पीलीभीत बाईपास पर स्थित इस मॉल में बड़ी कार पार्किंग भी है। अक्सर लोग यहां घूमने आते हैं। वैसे तो शहर में कई थिऐटर मौजूद हैं लेकिन फिल्म देखने के लिए लोग यहां आना ज्यादा पसंद करते हैं। मॉल में एक बड़ा एंकर स्टोर, वेनिला दुकानें, मल्टीप्लेक्स, फूड कोर्ट, स्पेशियलिटी रेस्तरां और हाइपर मार्ट्स हैं। इसके अलावा इस मॉल में मोंटे कार्लो शोरूम, लेवी स्टोर, रिलायंस डिजिटल स्टोरी, गेमिंग, प्ले जोन, मैकडॉनल्स रेस्तरां का भी लुत्फ उठा सकते हैं।
फन सिटी बरेली
बरेली में वैसे तो घूमने के लिए बहुत सी जगह हैं, लेकिन जब परिवार के साथ लोगां को टाइम बिताना होता है तो वह सीधे फन सिटी का रुख करते हैं। हालांकि यहां गर्मियों में लोगों की तादाद ज्यादा रहती है। मौज-मस्ती के लिए यह जगह काफी अच्छी है। फन सिअी दो भागों में बंटी है, जिसके एक भाग में हरी घास के मैदान झूले हैं, विभिन्न प्रकार के सवारी के साधन हैं तो दूसरे भाग में वाटर पार्क है। जहां बच्चों से लेकर बड़े तक वाटर पार्क का भरपूर आनंद ले सकते हैं। वाटर पार्क में पानी में मस्ती करने का अपना अलग ही मजा है। वैसे तो फन सिटी शहर से बाहर है लेकिन यहां आसानी से पहुंचा जा सकता है। रेलवे स्टेशन या सेटेलाइट बस स्टैंड से ऑटो के जरिए सीधे आपको पीलीभीत बाईपास पर पहुंचना होगा।
